3. Add More Color To Your Diet

How your plate looks is how your gut will look, eventually. If you pile your plate and make a mess by mixing and matching anything and everything, imagine the plight of that tummy of yours. And then you wonder why those pants are suddenly snug or why your jacket zipper won’t come up. Make eating an enjoyable thing. Stop being scared of little monsters called calories. Decorate your plate with different items and add in more color. The fact is, you will feel a lot better about eating all that colorful stuff and your stomach will thank you. Add spinach and leafy veggies for green, stock up on some red cherries and tomatoes, add some roasted or baked paneer (or chicken, if you eat non-vegetarian food) and add a lot of grain variety to mix things well and get fiber in. Oats are a great substitute for atta, once in a while.

Another tip, eat in a smaller plate if you are trying to cut back on food. This way you won’t be as hungry as you will eat in a loaded small plate and your goals will be met.
