He knows it’s not always rainbows and butterflies, and he doesn’t live in denial of conflict. If there is discord, he tries to understand your side of the story. He listens. There is nothing more important in life than being each others audience in happiness and gloom. When things are well, he is your cheerleader. When things are tough, he is your shoulder.

When he is with you, his eyes smile. It’s one of the most beautiful things in the world to look into someone’s eyes and know they love you. If this doesn’t give you the butterflies, we don’t know what would.
