Traffic reduced drastically. The roads which were usually jam packed in the rush hours were an easy breeze for travelers. However, with so many exceptions to the rule, there was no significant drop in the number of vehicles when comparing from December last week but those who drive every day very well know how Delhi made the impossibles possible.

The claim that December last week is generally a slow week considering holidays clearly fits the argument.
