8. Elvis Presley

Fondly known as The King, Elvis Presley was a cultural phenomenon in his time. Elvis was a renowned singer and actor. Even today, people look up to him as a style icon and is one of the biggest names in Rock n’ Roll. He was all of 42 when he was found on his bathroom floor by his then-girlfriend Ginger Alden and after numerous failed efforts to revive him, Presley was declared dead. Earlier reports gave the cause of death as a heart attack but it was later confirmed to be an accidental drug overdose. American Jimmy Carter said that Elvis Presley changed the face of American pop culture permanently.
